Nothing can happen and it will.

where strings remain
and strains unchain
I stripped myself to pieces

I hollowed out
what doubt left out
and wrapped myself in creases

weave high and dry
Incense and rye
collapse to boundless groundings

immersed in flock
a swaying clock
a circle out of boundaries

grounded in roundtrips
between ends
and eaten away
by orbiting bites –

the holder of breaths
the setter of suns
the spender of nights
and
the raiser of voices
the crosser of minds
the broker of silences
and
the passenger of time
the shifter of grounds
the lector of intent
and many more…

1) that which is out of itself
I thought aloud as a cloud could
like thickets of light would
erecting reflections
and noticing not a thing.

a thing which around itself settles into an opposite that has not been there before the thing has been there, although afterwards already seems like having existed before.
Before I notice what sinks behind me, from where I can, but won’t look at it, it would seem quite deliberate, is not and moves on, or not, I know [before I notice].
What it takes is circles of circles, but what for is not entirely made clear from being held in a spot – a spot of circumstantial lack of attraction leading to an avoidance leading to an absence that is me from behind again and not watching what is and stays there maybe watching me or being itself unable to what I am unable to, settled, and not doing the doable deliberately and therefore itself creating this blank out of nothing out of a circumstantial ignorance, a gaze unmet by chance, sinks.

2) the escalation of causality
a considerable condensation of nightlight
thickens into mist (gist of the latter)
The light weight of eyes upon me
night watch sight seeding
the obscene unseenery

3) that which faces
falling and failing to fall at all.
eyes look watching at me,
I see stares gazing through solids,
I scrutinize glimpses
observer of the obverse
in rows of mirrors
like facets of faucets

I’m tracking (signs of) symmetric trickery,
in looking glass zeroes,
and few rear view mimicry in reflective  sur-face fades, fake face assertions,
that appear to object to closures
a trick of inside mirrors, clearly
make objects disappear closer than they really aren’t

Δ Aurigæ

by leo on Januar 9, 2012

Delta Aurigae is an installation which deals with the periodic coalescence of opposite aggregate states, based on and structured by the rhythm of a double star system like the constellation Auriga.

A world populated by meanders and monoliths, meteors and menhirs that draws inspiration from ancient astrology which was using rock formations and natural objects to decipher the universe and measure it’s cycles.

Delta Aurigae is a hybrid between installation and performance, a stage with a life of its own. In idle mode it shows a slow and majestic flow like a glacier, where fringes blur and relations vanish.

A monolith itself, Delta Aurigae is a 4.5m high triangle with a real-time projection.
Made with VVVV & Reaktor.

o-O-orbiting the delta skelta
In merry barycenter go-rounds.
Let’s build a whole city of glass houses, only a stone’s throw away
To regard the light night sky, dive drown
Dissolving vis-à-vis-viva equators
In our monolitheral observatory.
We will, we will…

Glyph

by leo on Oktober 6, 2011

Glyph is a projection sculpture with references to ritual monuments such as obelisks or stelas. It deals with cyclic change and constantly regenerates itself. An alphabet based on fundamental geometric shapes (rectangle, circle and triangle) acts as an communication device as well as a pure aesthetic element. All texts displayed are permanently evolving and restructured based on linguistic rules.
The installation runs in realtime – the video shows a random segment recorded at schmiede 2011.

Made with processing & reaktor
supported by Subnet AiR, Schmiede, Polypod, Waldschuetz Photography , Show2Go, Holzcraft

I

glyph cleavage

like man-high menhirs
one line unbroken
heading for a fold

in the ministry of mist
a high official locks the primary gate
seals it thoroughly with wax
as he does every evening
thinking about molten rocks
and flocks therof

fold what you have at hand
if nothing
for a fold creates a separation that is an union that is a divide that is a joint

for nothing is ever so insisting as an unbridged gap

At
the atoms’ of words nightly fission
demounted scriptures
let letters
be
and build.

A Kohen’s head leaking
kowtow prostration high I rise downlift
in steadfast decline
loose faith and lost face
An arbitrary figure
crouched in covered crevices
sleeps,
calmed by the superiority of imaginary numbers

unscramble the
low tower password
tear open a portable peakhole
flood it with a froth of (moth) light
Down the lightwell, white
like loitering in literal tunnelfunnels

for it may be found not on the surface but within
not on the peak but above
not on the ground but underneath

subterranean alps
and towers piercing the earth
for every pit you dig, erect a mountain

humbly construct folds, to create in-between spaces
and aptly distortions -
then hide whole chunks of space within its pleats
and time , what else
a room for concealment, unlonged for.

a realm subject to
negotiation
